Headshots : Session Information

I shoot approx. 250 exposures. The headshot fee also includes two 8x10 photographs on CD.
Extra images are $25.00 each. Retouching is $20.00 per image.

A low-res slide show disc will be ready the day of your session, and the final choices on CD
3-5 working days after the day of your order.

Headshot Payment

To reserve a time for your head shot session a deposit of $200.00 must be received one week prior to the session. I require 48 hours notice of cancellation of your headshot session or re-scheduling in order to receive a full refund of your deposit. Payment for headshots is accepted in cash, by check or thru PayPal. If anything is unclear, please ask.

Information for a Successful Session

The success of your headshot session relies on you doing your homework-bring the right clothing, attitude and information from your agent or manager. You will feel better if you do not eat a lot right before the headshot session. Get a good night's sleep and do a light work out before you arrive for your photos. If you are a sun worshipper, put it off until after your session. Leave plenty of time to get from place to place and women book out three hours, men two hours for your session. Bring music!

Hair and Make-Up--Women's Headshots

Please have your hair and make-up done professionally. I will happily book my stylist for you. She is wonderful and will stay for the entire session; the cost is $165.00 ($185 for straight and curly) payable in cash only.

Grooming--Men's Headshots

Bring just some cover up and powder. Come to the session clean shaven. Any hair product you may use, bring it along and I will help, if needed.

Clothing

Pack a suitcase! If you are unsure, bring more rather than less. Textures work very well. Stick to simple collars, bring clothes you are comfortable wearing to auditions and are in good condition.

Commercial Head Shots--Men and Women

Bring casual, lighter clothing or combine a light shirt with a darker over-layer. If you are blonde or fair haired, stick to deep rich colors. The idea is to create contrast.

Legit Headshots--Women

Bring dressier/sexier clothes, dark colors, textures. Keep jewelry simple.

Legit Headshots--Men

Bring darker clothing. Textures and finely knit shirts work well (date clothes) Create contrast.

In all cases don't be afraid to bring too much. This process should be painless, relaxed and FUN!

"A Day in the Life" / Kids : Session Information

No frilly frocks, no boring backdrops; Just your kids, their way!

With fifteen years of experience shooting portraiture in the New York City area, allow me to offer my unique vision and expertise toward photographing your children as they go through a day.

We will explore a number of venues and activities where I will step back and photograph your children being themselves, allowing me to capture images that are truly spontaneous: images that will show the true spirits and unique personalities of your kids.

Your children's portraits can be presented to you in an editorial quality, linen covered coffee table book or on a CD (other packages available).

We as parents know, all too well, the time just flies by.
